Here is another example: Weapon A: super fast, super light. 10 DPS, speed of 1.5 Weapon B: not as fast, but harder hitting: 12 DPS, speed of 3 Now, lets say you are a Rogue, and you have all your abilities in %critical chance. You have a 12% chance to crit with every swing. With Weapon A, you will have twice as many crits as you will with weapon B. You see why its not always automatic to equip the higher DPS weapon. In Macro's and speech, remember that %t will cite your current target. Shift + Clicking on wow gold will add it to your speech or your macro. Both %t and shift+click come in very handy.

Avoid this big mistake; players are too quick to use DPS (damage per second) on their weapons as the primary factor. This is just not true. Abilities such as % to crit and damage bonuses are calculated based upon the damage of the weapon or its speed. DPS is just an average and is never used in computing an ability. Example: Weapon A: a slow, heavy weapon deals 110-130 damage, yet is only 80 DPS Weapon B: a faster weapon deals 75-85 damage, and is 85 DPS. most players will equip wow gold B automatically. Well if you are a warrior and you like to use your mortal strike ability....this would be a terrible idea! Why? Because Mortal Strike on weapon A would deal 220-260 damage and on weapon B would deal 150-170 damage. Quite the difference. Get as many quests as possible

Get as many quests as possible, simultaneously. Do not do quests one at a time. When entering a new map region, go to the main town first, then speak to all the NPC's, get all the quest, and then proceed to explore. Remember that some quests can be a waste of time, requiring you spend an hour running to and from different people. Don't be afraid to abandon quests in favor of other ones. Don’t waste time on crappy quests. Use groups to your advantage. Grouping will immensely speed up your power game, but do it only when necessary. About 25% of the quests wow gold group quests, and you will waste time trying to solo them; unless you wait until you are a few levels higher and the quest becomes green (good tip for solo'ers). The rest of the quests, you can solo. There are some conditions here, however: Beware of inefficient groups - A group that doodles around or keeps dying trying to complete a quest will slow you down. You are better off soloing in this case. If you are a Shaman, or a Paladin or have a quick way to heal yourself and mele both, then you may be better off soloing more often than not. Warriors and types that mele well but can't heal, and priests and mages who have little armor function are better in groups. Groups can work well; but they must be efficient groups. You don't take much damage, you kill them fast, you have quick recovery (low down time). But in those same 5 hours, you could have wow gold level 15 simply by killing stuff 2-3 levels beneath you. And then doing the quest in 1 hour. So in 6 hours, you get the quest done, and are at level 15, as opposed to finishing the quest in 5 hours and still being at level 13. It’s so tempting to go for that mob boss who's three levels above you and finish your quest solo. You could literally waste 10 hours, or even days trying. BUT, if you get in a group, then you can do it in a cinch. OR you can 'level grind' yourself. This is the heart of powering through this game to the upper levels.

The death knight combines martial prowess with dark, necromantic energies. Players might be familiar with the death knight from previously released Warcraft games -- most recently, in the campaigns for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and the Frozen Throne expansion, the former paladin Arthas became a death knight and wreaked havoc across Azeroth and Northrend before fusing with the spirit of Ner'zhul to become the Lich King. Just to keep the rumours flying, German site wow.szene.de came up with the following list of features that will apparently be in the new expansion. Lots of new content, eg. new lands and NPCs Character level cap to increase to level 80 A host of new abilities and talents A new character - Deathknight New PvP features including siege weapons and destructible buildings A new profession: Inscription Some character customisation made available New areas include Grizzly Hills and Dragonblight These facts are based on an FAQ that was apparently posted on the EU boards late last night which has subsequently vanished: What are the features of the new expansion? Wrath of the Lich King builds on the rich foundation established in World of Warcraft and The Burning Crusade, providing a wealth of new content for wow gold to explore. The harsh, forbidding continent of Northrend, home of the Lich King and his undead minions, will be uncovered on the world map, and to contend with the new challenges found there, players will be able to advance to level 80, acquiring potent new abilities and talents along the way. BlizzCon 2007: WoW Expansion Pre-BlizzCon Rumour Factory

Expansion rumours have been circulating for a few days prior to BlizzCon Starting. First of all IGN reported that the next expansion would be called World of Warcraft: Into the Maelstrom. This would take players into the Maelstrom zone of the map for the first time which would include numerous islands, Undermine and a new city. The report also mentioned the level cap would be raised to 80, advancement from 70 onwards would be through the hero classes, a feature that has been long talked about by Blizzard. These hero classes are supposedly going to be shown at BlizzCon. This was the first half decent rumour this week but it all changed wow gold today thanks to some keen eyes on our German sister site Gamona.de. Forget 'Enter the Maestrom', according the German USK rating site the next expansion will be called World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. All rumours have one similarity, the fact that the expansion will head to Northrend. There have been Northrend names in the game files for some time so it looks like that's where we'll all be heading next regardless of game title. Of course we could all be wrong and Blizzard may have a cunning plan up their sleeves. Later this afternoon German rating site USK pulled their listing for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, probably after Blizzard finished screaming at them down the telephone. Due to the fact that USK is an official body I think we can safely assume they are privy to better information than IGN so I think we have to go with The Lich King name. New Dungeons and Instances

We'd love to give you more information, but that's all we know at this point. Among the most exciting introductions is the Death Knight hero class. What we know so far: Death Knights appear to be plate-wearers. The video which introduced them appeared to indicate that wow gold may "fall" and become death knights (this is a whole lot of speculation at the moment). Gnomes, humans, and tauren can become Death Knights. Other races probably can, but that's what we know at the moment. The video appeared to show the DKs summoning undead to fight for them. The expansion is very story-driven

A video of the recent WWI convention (we were there, and it was epic) highlights was also shown. It was fun reliving some of those events – the Korean announcers yelling “Good Game!” at the end of the competitive events, the various hip hop bands that played there (it was very over the top), the indoor fireworks (no, not kidding), and the unbelievably enthusiastic response of the Korean gamers was featured. The cinematic trailer for Starcraft II was also shown. This was the first time we saw it in English. :) Blizzard sure knows how to make a cool intro film. A big question remains unanswered. How the hell does that Starcraft marine dude smoke a cigar inside a space helmet? Wouldn't he just catch fire, with the crazy oxygen content and all? (As usual, I digress...) Then Mike got to the meat of his announcement. He introduced Frank Pierce (another Blizzard co-founder), to discuss Blizzard's new title announcement. Frank began to talk about WoW exclusively. He mentioned voice chat, made a wow gold of jokes about it (“that hot night elf chick on the other end of the line is actually a dude”), and then discussed the introduction of guild banks, as well as the new Zul'Aman instance. Some guy shouted out, “For the Horde!”. Another shouted out, “We love you, Frank!” Frank then introduced the Wrath of the Lich King as the next WoW expansion. Northrend will be the primary territory of the expansion. Arthas is the Lich King mentioned in the title. The expansion is very story-driven. The level cap is now going up to 80. New abilities, talents and items are being introduced. New PvP arenas, new battlegrounds, and seige wow gold along with fortifications that can be destroyed by those seige weapons. Aside from the one new hero class


Hero Classes (by Tom Chilton, though these concepts come from the class discussion forum) Blizz had considered adding additional talent trees to current classes to make them into “hero classes”. The Druids of Azeroth, made up of the Night Elf and Tauren populations, have an interesting mix of abilities. To WOW, they are the shape shifting wow gold of all Trades. They can heal the party, with efficiency topped only by the Priest. In Cat Form they can deal melee damage and sneak around their enemies with the guile of a Rogue. If shifted into Bear Form, they are capable of performing tanking roll of a Warrior. While in Moonkin Form, they can dole out massive damage by raining down arcane and nature spells on the target. This wide range of abilities makes the druid the ideal member of any party, if one person fails, the druid can switch over to the vacated role and pick up the slack. Another concept was that a class could “multi-class”. You could start out as a warrior, then add “Death Knight” to that. There would be rogue death knights, etc. The numerous odd combinations – the mage death knight combo, for example – were somewhat forced, and possibly badly unbalanced. Another issue was characters morphing into other characters. You could level up as a shaman, then “become” a death knight. Blizz decided against this. The Death Knight was chosen as the hero class for this expansion because finding a tank is now quite hard in WoW. This was one of the considerations. They didn't want to introduce multiple hero classes at once; this might prove disastrously unbalancing. Aside from the one new hero class, each current class's talent trees and abilities will be upgraded and added to in the expansion; this continues to breath new life into the old classes. It is interesting to consider how the World of Warcraft expansion has been received. It has satisfy people, as it offers growth and variety to the whole experience. It has been fascinating to see the new race joining the Alliance, and it is intriguing and different for the Horde to have their own “pretty” race in the form of the wow gold Elves. In general, the expansion has been a good thing and will give the game more depth. It should make the game more appealing to players. World of Warcraft will also see its influence grow in 2008. Its success has inspired the game industry to develop similar titles and explore where the role-playing genre can go. There are games in development that intend to follow Warcraft’s lead. The title “Warhammer Online” is one such example. This massively multi-player online role-playing game aims to refine its genre even further, by making the game play more competitive and ruthless. It will be interesting to see how it performs. World of Warcraft has a lot to look forward to in its forth year and beyond. The subscriber base for the game should grow, as it is now a genuine mainstream success. The expansion has been the most significant update to the game yet. It is clear that wow gold will continue to prosper and will be around for a long time to come. The World of Warcraft PvP forum, featuring Jeff Kaplan and Tom Chilton as the primary presenters, was held in the main hall at BlizzCon. Tom is the lead designer and all around head honcho for the upcoming Lich King expansion. Jeff had the same responsibilities for the original game when it was first released. Together, they've been responsible for the design and implementation of various WoW battlegrounds, the wow gold system, and the inclusion of world PvP zones in World of Warcraft. Although the Goblin staff are fairly ardent PvPers, we've always assumed that PvP in WoW is a sideshow event. You know, PvP was (we thought) something of a mini-game, but one that appeals to a minority of players. Not so.
